CFO in a Private Equity Company @Bologna Business School

Yesterday, at Bologna Business School, an insightful session took place on the role of the CFO in SMEs backed by private equity funds, as part of the module Advanced Corporate Finance and Capital Markets within the CFO in a Private Equity Company programme, developed in collaboration with Di Luccia & Partners.

During his talk, Fabrizio Baroni, Founder & Managing Partner of B4 Investimenti, shared a perspective grounded in direct experience, combining corporate finance tools with entrepreneurial partnership models. Real-life cases provided a practical lens through which to understand how growth is governed in small-cap environments.

A hands-on discussion on value creation drivers, financial decision-making, governance, and organisational structure, highlighting the CFO as a central figure in bringing structure, technical expertise, method, and discipline to growth journeys.

Many thanks to Bologna Business School and Di Luccia & Partners for the opportunity to engage with a high-quality, receptive audience in an open and concrete dialogue.

Luca Monica appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sa.No. S.r.l.
