B4 Investimenti acquires a majority stake in Frana ‑ Polifibre, a long-established Bergamo-based company of excellence and a leader in the production of synthetic fibres derived from recycled materials

B4 Investimenti, through the B4 H III – Fondo EuVECA fund, has acquired a stake in Frana – Polifibre, a long-established Bergamo-based company of excellence active in the production of synthetic fibres mainly derived from recycled plastic materials and primarily intended for the production of non-woven fabrics.

The transaction, structured as a majority buy-out with a growth capital approach, was completed in partnership with entrepreneur Enrico Frana , who retains a significant stake and his role as Chief Executive Officer.

The project also involves, as managers and co-investors, Riccardo Sciutto, who has been appointed Chairman and brings extensive international experience in leading Italian companies of excellence, and Gianpaolo Torri, who has been appointed General Manager after more than twenty years with the Company.

B4’s investment will support Frana – Polifibre in a new phase of development, with the aim of strengthening its management and organisational structure, expanding its presence in international markets, accelerating growth in new application segments and supporting further investments in production.
