The role of the CEO in SME growth paths

Yesterday, our Managing Partner Fabrizio Baroni held a lecture at Di Luccia Business School dedicated to a central figure in SME growth paths: the CEO.

In the context of companies backed by private equity funds, the CEO often represents the point of connection between entrepreneurship, management, team and value creation. It is a role called upon to guide the evolution of the organisation, foster managerialisation, build processes and support the company towards the “next level”.

Through the analysis of concrete experiences and business cases developed within B4’s portfolio, the lecture offered a reflection on the characteristics that distinguish leaders capable of generating sustainable results over time.

Because, as we often say, value creation is always the result of many factors. But above all, it is always and especially people who make the difference.
